Tips For Sellers

Make a great post

The golf clubs that get rented most on FireIron have great photos, titles, descriptions, and fair prices. To make a new post, choose the “Post A Listing” option at the top of your homepage.

If you’ve already posted your item, but it isn’t selling fast, try updating your post, which you can do in your profile.

Respond quickly to each buyer

Responding fast helps you keep a buyer interested right now, and also helps you in the future.

Price your clubs fairly

We don’t restrict listings based on price, however, the best way to attract renters is to price your clubs fairly based on the condition, age, and market comparisons in your area. If you need help finding a value for your clubs please reach out to our customer service team and we’d be happy to help!

Suggest a safe location

Usually, the seller suggests where to meet. We recommend meeting in very public places such as coffee shops or malls. However, it’s also a great idea and added value to deliver a renters clubs directly to the course they’ll be playing at. If you’d like you can even charge extra for this delivery as an add-on in your listing.

Get a great rating

Plan to spend enough time to let the buyer examine the item and feel good about the exchange. Better ratings increase the chance of future rentals.
